Description:Perennial herb, 10 to 30cm. Stem, the base of many brown filamentous remaining leaves. Leaves crowded, sessile leaves oblanceolate, long 10-13cm, width of 2.5 to 4.5cm, apex acuminate, base amplexicaul, serrated edges. The capitulum acrogenous, intensive; bracts leaf-shaped, oval, multi-layer, approximate membranous, white or greenish yellow; flowers brown purple, tubular flowers. Achenes, pappus white, bristle-like.
